Image via WikipediaAmerican Presidents And WealthI find an interesting post at The Page by Mark Halperin, and next I click to Los Angeles Times covering the 08 Campaign on Barack Obama's Wealth Has Skyrocketed.
It is interesting to note whether, a man who is rich and then become the President of The United States Of America, and a man who is the President of The United States Of America and then become rich.
I am glad to know that...
Obama's money has come largely from sales of his books, "Dreams From My Father" and "The Audacity of Hope." He's also writing a children's book. All three of the candidates have had bestsellers.
I sense that money should not be the motive to being a President. The what is in it for me - monetarily - is not applicable.
What is a better purpose is to serve, to bring about change, and to impact nicely the whole globe with total peace.
